AKAAL Productions

AKAAL Productions is a non-profit Sikh organisation that aspires to provide services that will be beneficial to young Sikhs living within the Western world and the societies in which they reside.

Established in 2001, the main drive for the organisation was to create music which would inspire the masses. This idea has now evolved and now sees the group taking on much more challenging projects, from graphic design, online podcasts, to short movies and documentaries.

The AKAAL Productions team consider themselves as a family. The Family were very pleased to announce that after a long wait the highly anticipated album: ROOTS – Rize Of Our True Soul-Jah’z was launched in October 2009. A hiphop inspired album, ROOTS is dedicated to the Sikh Freedom Movement, which was launched in 1984. The struggle for justice has been somewhat silenced in recent years and The Family aims to rekindle the fire which once burned strongly within the hearts of Sikhs across the globe. ROOTS was launched in time for the 25th Anniversary of the Sikh Holocaust of November 1984 and was be dedicated to the victims of the said massacre.
